Hop On The Tanner Usrey bandwagon Now
A few weeks ago, I had a video pop up on my twitter timeline of a random guy with a guitar I hadn't seen before. My first impression was that this guy looked a lot like Luke Combs. My second impression was "Holy Shit."
I want to get y'all started the same way it happened for me. So here's the tweet:

After that, I decided to give the guy a search on apple music and the first song I listened to was "Come Back Down." Usrey automatically captivated me when he opened his mouth asking the questions:
"Tell me darlin', how's your mom been? / How's the weather where you are?"
After listing everything he does (or drinks, or pops) to get over her, he comes in strong on the second verse:
"It's a fucked up situation I put us in / When the woman I left you for left me for another man / And I guess I should apologize, but I never could lay down my pride"
Today, the 25 year old newcomer from Prosper, Texas, released his first EP titled "Medicine Man." His song "Josephine" from the twitter post shared above, was the song that almost every fan of his had been anticipating and begging for. With his raw, sometimes shaky and emotional voice, I don't think anyone was disappointed, especially because it came with additional music on a surprise EP.
This kid is going to blow up, y'all heard it here first.
