Luke Bryan Releases Brand New Song 'Build Me A Daddy'
Ahh, Luke Bryan is back.
After a stint of being THEE biggest country star in the world with hit after hit, Luke Bryan's music started to fall off. Not just because of it being different or not "country" or anything like that, it just wasn't good in my opinion.
However, that leads us to his brand new emotional single "Build Me A Daddy". It's a story-telling country song about a boy in a toy shop asking to have his dad back and if it don't get to you in some capacity, you might as well be the Tin Man.
The song was written by Jake Mitchell, Brett Tyler, and of course, the name we see behind songs everywhere now, Josh Thompson. I don't think it's going to be a huge flashy song like we were used to seeing from Luke years ago, but I think it's one that'll gain positive reactions across the board. Sorta like "Boy" from Lee Brice. We need more of these types of songs and sometimes Luke gives us them, just not usually as good as this one. Job well done.
I’ve played this song for a lot of my hardcore buddies and it chokes them up. I think that’s the beauty of country music, to really make you feel emotional. I can’t wait to share my new song, Build Me A Daddy, with you guys this Friday. Pre-save here: https://t.co/4G00bEtToX pic.twitter.com/g8DG1OOngy— Luke Bryan (@LukeBryanOnline) June 10, 2020
